Bring doggies items you no longer need and see if someone brings something you need! Any items not swapped will be given to Marion Humane Society.

Thank you to members who attended the April Dynamic Dog Club meeting. We had a current AKC judge Vicki Jordan and our two AKC DDC members Miranda True and Debbie Candetelli on the panel. Vicki Jordan was able to discuss and answer a number of questions about entering AKC shows. She also shared how to register a dog as a Canine Partner so mixed breed dogs can participate in many of the events. The meeting really came alive when Miranda and Debbie shared their experiences and why it is not just about pure bred show dogs but fun, bonding and building skills together with your dog. Miranda had magnificent ribbons she shared that were a result of novice events such as "good house manners" done by video.

Daily Sun Recognition Day - Great participation of dog and owners to show appreciation of the media coverage of our dogs and clubs. Members of the Daily Sun loved their basket of goodies and the hour of their "fur fix".
Sara Morgan and READer participants will be awarding the school media centers $75.00 to purchase books about dogs for their libraries.
Camp Villages for Kids - June 20th and July 14th - Hope Bolyard Coordinator [email protected] is contact for volunteers.
Description - Kids will work with therapy team to learn one or two tricks with their assigned dog. The kids will then demonstrate the trick with the dog to the grandparent audience.
Volunteer list is full for June 20th but can be put on waitlist.

NOTE: DDC is still looking for a volunteer to restart the Muffins and Mutts bimonthly walk OR act as DDC Liaison/Team Lead for involvement in AKC Fitness and Fun.
