THE VILLAGES DYNAMIC DOG CLUB The Dynamic Dog Club of The Villages, Florida was formed in 2008 to draw together residents who have a common interest in the ownership and education of their dogs. At our monthly meeting, we have diverse presentations including subjects such as health, nutrition, training, safety, traveling tips, local rescue needs, therapy and service dogs needs, drill team performance, military support and upcoming events.
NEXT DYNAMIC DOG CLUB MEETING IS SEPTEMBER 24. Our next official meeting will be on Wednesday September 24 at 4:00 PM in Laurel Manor Recreation Center. It will be an Ice Cream Social with the topic "Everything You Ever Wanted to Know About Therapy in The Villages" led by our Therapy Leads Rick and Tammy Smith and Dave Silva. This meeting is for people only.

The October Meeting will be our famous annual Howloween Event which will be outside and include our dogs.
Several activities took place over the summer including: - Camp Villages Sessions - Presentation at Marion County Camp - Drill Team ready for bookings this summer for clubs and events. We also practice weekly - Therapy Classes and Training Sessions
A group of 30 Dynamic Dogs performed two sessions in June and July at Camp Villages where we introduced our dog breeds and showcased their talents with our Camp Waggington Presentation
VILLAGES GUIDE DOG PRESENTATION
The April Meeting of The Villages Dynamic Dog Club spotlighted two of our Members, Marge and Rich LeClaire, speaking about "How to Sucessfully Raise a Guide Dog Puppy". They were joined by Lillian Pollize and several other members from the local group of the GuideDog Foundation for the Blind, Inc. Major, a combat veteran who served overseas was included in the presentation.
The Dynamic Dog Club participated in the recent Villages Christmas Parade. Our Therapy and Drill Team dogs walked the track to cheers and were featured in the Villages Television Broadcast of the Parade. The Drill Team also performed at the preparade events. Our Therapy and Drill Team Dogs marched in the parade. We were happy to be included in these important events.
The seven licensed Zumba Instructors in The Villages held a Charity Zumbathon on October 12. Over $2500 was raised for the Dynamic Dog Club Military Canine Initiative and the Sumter County SPCA. In addition, food and pet supplies were donated by the attendees. The Dynamic Dog Club would like to thank Zumba Fitness and the Zumba Instructors and the event participants.

Regular Meetings are on the last Wednesday of the month normally at Laurel Manor Recreation Center but we have several months in 2014 where there will be no meetings due to holidays. Annual Dues only $7 individual, or $12 couple.
